Bright Minds aims to provide students with great academic potential from difficult social and financial backgrounds the opportunity to complete their tertiary studies.

How it works

To qualify you must:
  • Be younger than 22
  • Have completed your HSC or an equivalent and achieved excellent results
  • Come from a family with a total monthly income that does not exceed MUR15,000

The scholarship includes:
  • Payment of the university fees for any selected undergraduate programme in Mauritius
  • A monthly allowance of MUR5,000 throughout the programme
  • A laptop and internet access for 3 years
  • Guidance by a Barclays mentor
  • Internship at Barclays

How to apply for Bright Minds scholarships:

Fill in the Bright Minds 2017 application form and submit it along with all required documents, in hard copy, by 30 April 2017 to:
